RREUSE is delighted to announce the signing of a four-year framework partnership with the European Commission’s Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. The deal will help RREUSE’s mission in the promotion of an enabling policy framework that supports the role of social enterprise in a circular economy.

The partnership, funded under the EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI), will enable RREUSE to support the EU Commission in its statutory aim of fighting against social exclusion, poverty and providing access to employment. This will include emphasising new ways of demonstrating social value, implementing social clauses in public procurement as well as raising awareness about how member states can support the development of social enterprise at local level, implementing the EU Pillar of Social Rights and EU 2020 strategy in practice.

RREUSE is looking forward to this new partnership and hopes that as a result its work at EU level will help sustain and create new socially inclusive green jobs at local level.
