Meet WIDADO - Austria’s first online marketplace, developed by Re-Use Austria, that brings together social and circular enterprises to offer secondhand furniture, homewares, clothing, books and more.
Each item is cleaned, repaired, priced and listed by staff – many of whom are work integration participants gaining valuable experience in logistics, repairs, sales and more. These roles not only support circular economy goals, but also help individuals transition into long-term employment.
WIDADO is a powerful example of how digital innovation can support inclusive employment and environmental sustainability, all while giving new life to pre-loved goods.
