By joining RREUSE, we got access to a wide range of knowledge and relations that helped us to have a better understanding of reuse and social economy within a wider context. This membership is an important pillar of our cultural, social, environmental, and entrepreneurial growth, and is fundamental to linking what we practice daily in our labs with the complexity outside of them.
RREUSE is an excellent network for finding contacts from other countries, exchanging best practices and get up to date information about EU policies. The atmosphere in the live meetings is warm, and you always feel welcome. It's encouraging to change ideas with people who share the same fundamental values.
Being part of this influential network allows us to bring global expertise home while putting our local innovations on the world stage. Through RREUSE, we influence policy to drive legislative change, exchange expertise on international best practices, and lead the transition by demonstrating that Northern Ireland’s social enterprises are at the heart of reaching vital environmental and social goals.
Being a RREUSE member has been essential over the years to keep the bar straight on a long-term vision in the face of fragmentation and regulatory and management gaps at the national level, which daily challenge long-term projects aimed at building an inclusive and circular economy/world.
We really do appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this international network and share common challenges. As we are still a young organisation, it is crucial for us to learn from experienced members and share good practise in the Czech Republic.
