The RREUSE Academy: Inclusive Business Development for Social Circular Enterprises

The RREUSE Academy aims to strengthen the business readiness of circular social enterprises within the RREUSE network through a programme of capacity-development activities focused on inclusive business development. The programme will help social enterprises strengthen their skills and business models, grow their activities, and remain viable in a changing market.

The project will identify unmet support needs among social circular enterprises within the RREUSE network by mapping existing training opportunities, identifying gaps in the sector’s support ecosystem, and exploring how RREUSE can address these gaps in collaboration with experts in the field. These insights will inform the design and testing of a tailored programme for social circular enterprises at different stages of development, offering training modules, peer-to-peer learning opportunities and practical resources adapted to their needs and contexts.

As a dedicated learning track within the new RREUSE Academy's service package, the Inclusive Business Development programme will contribute to the implementation of RREUSE’s multiannual strategy for 2026–2030. The Academy is an ecosystem-wide initiative aimed at strengthening the support and capacity development available to social circular enterprises across the network.

Through targeted capacity-development activities, the programme will equip social enterprises with the skills and tools to strengthen their business models, respond to market changes and build long-term resilience.

The project is supported by IKEA Social Entrepreneurship through the second phase of its partnership with RREUSE, providing three-year funding for the development of the Inclusive Business Development programme within the RREUSE Academy.
