RREUSE strategy 2026-2030: Advancing a job-rich and inclusive circular Europe

RREUSE is pleased to present its strategy 2026–2030, “Advancing a job-rich and inclusive circular Europe.” Adopted by the General Assembly on 23 April 2026, this strategy sets out our vision for 2030: a Europe where circular social enterprises are recognised as key economic actors; where reuse and repair are embedded in policy, markets and everyday consumer behaviour; where social inclusion is a defining feature of the circular economy; where strong national ecosystems exist across all regions; and where collaboration, innovation and knowledge-sharing drive continuous improvement.

Building on 25 years of experience and a network of more than 1,300 social enterprises in reuse, repair and recycling, the strategy positions RREUSE as a community builder, knowledge hub and policy influencer. It outlines a clear strategic direction for a social and circular approach, centred on three interconnected pillars:

  • Community – strengthening a cohesive European network of social enterprises.
  • Academy – boosting capacity, innovation and evidence to scale impact.
  • Outreach – shaping policy, visibility and supportive ecosystems across Europe.

Through these pillars, RREUSE aims to ensure that social enterprises are recognised as essential actors in Europe’s green, digital and social transitions. The strategy is both a roadmap and an invitation to policymakers, partners and funders to help build an inclusive circular economy that creates quality jobs, strengthens communities and reduces inequalities.
