Each year, RREUSE conducts a survey of its extensive member base to obtain quantitative data. We use this to highlight social enterprises’ societal contributions and their essential role in advancing a truly circular economy.
Today we present our members’ positive social, economic and environmental impact generated in 2024, based on aggregated data from across our network, to illustrate the collective impact of our members across 22 countries.
In 2024, our 36 members
Involved 120,000 people as employees, volunteers and trainees
Collected 1,300,000 tonnes of waste
Reused locally 297,000 tonnes of goods
Achieved 1,287,000,000 euro turnover
These results are proof of the essential role social and circular enterprises play in building resilient communities, protecting our environment, and shaping a fairer economy for all.
