Creggan Neighbourhood Partnership is a community-led organisation working to improve social, economic, and environmental outcomes in the area.
A key focus is promoting a circular economy through reuse and repair initiatives. We operate reuse schemes, refurbish furniture i.e. upcycling programmes), and household goods, to help reduce waste while supporting those facing financial hardship. Repair is central to our work. Through community workshops, annual reuse and repair initiatives that encourage sustainable behaviours and responsible consumption. These activities not only reduce landfill waste but also provide skills development and employability opportunities, helping build a more sustainable and resilient community. CNP is currently running several circular economy initiatives including our men's shed, upcoming swap shop initiative and our newly established "Sew you" community alteration services.
