Siopa Pobail opened in the beautiful Gaeltacht village of Falcarragh on 24th August 2009. It has proven to be an extraordinary example of outstanding community spirit. Siopa Pobail is an initiative of Pobail Le Chéile and all proceeds from the shop go towards the local community.

Power4Good delivers services to people with disabilities who live in Zambia and is helping to fund two special needs projects in Zambia. They are Chainda Day Care Centre for children with special needs in Lusaka and the Chikuni special needs mapping exercise in Southern Province Zambia. Chainda is a parish on the outskirts of Lusaka under the care of the SMA Fathers, it has a population of 30,000 parishioners and the Day Care Centre caters to approx. 13 children, aged 5 to 14.

The shop was first opened as a pop up shop in 2013 by RWN services users to raise funds following budget cuts. We accept donations of clothes, shoes, bags, household items, jewellery, books, dvd’s, toys and small items of furniture. We do not accept donations of electrics, duvets, pillow or towels. We also sell new aprons, bags, soft toys and gifts made by our Textile Upcyling group, CycleUp from some of the shops textile waste.
