NGOs call on EU Commission to support strong eco-modulation for textiles in French law

Together with 65 European and French civil society organisations, RREUSE has urged the European Commission to support a proposed French law aimed at curbing the most harmful commercial practices in the fashion industry.

The draft law would strengthen Extended Producer Responsibility rules by introducing eco-modulated fees for textiles, penalising business models and marketing strategies that drive overproduction in the sector.
